Interview is set

After about a week of phone tag, the interviews are set for Wednesday and Thursday! We will do phone interviews separately, and Tim will do his on his lunch hour. I read somewhere else that they put couples in a nomination pool every three months, so there should be one coming up on May 1. Maybe we can get our interviews done (April 15 and 16) and be placed into that pool. I would love to know where we’re going and when we’re leaving by summertime. It seems impossible to plan anything when you have to keep telling people you might be out of the country.
In packing news, we will be participating in a garage sale in Michigan the first weekend of May w/ the Grand Rapids Knoll’s neighborhood. This is great for me because I love getting rid of clutter. I am the anti-pack rat. We’re selling our christmas tree, clothes, some things we just never use.
My mother has agreed to take all of our living room furniture and set it up in her house. Tim’s parents will take our bedroom furniture. We were thinking they could use it in one of their guest bedrooms, but it might end up in their basement. Either way is fine. That just leaves some assorted kitchen and bathroom items and books to pack. Maybe everyone could take a box to store in their garage, and then we won’t need a storage unit. Then when we get home, we’ll pay for the shipping back to where we’re living. Maybe let me know in the comments if you would be willing to put a box in your attic. You would be welcome to use whatever items we give and we’ll keep a spreadsheet of who has what in each box.
