Medical Information Sent

It seems surprising that this took so long (five weeks since we received our information), especially given our proactive nature … but, we finally sent in our medical information today. It took three doctors visits (initial exam, tb reading, vaccinations), a visit to each of our optometrists (thank you Susie for going to the Sam’s in Michigan), a complete request of medical records for each of us, one essay (about how Tim handles his ADD). Now we have to wait for the medical office to review our file and let us know what they still need. Most problems with medical files involve missing information. So, the process continues. Best case scenario, we did everything right and we get medical clearance. Middle, they need some additional information and we go from there. I guess the worst case scenario is that they find something in our medical info we sent in that automatically disqualifies us. We’re very healthy, so I don’t see that happening. But it’s certainly possible.
My classes (the ones I’m taking) are going well. I am really glad I’m going to be prepared for teaching English. There is so much more to TESOL than being a native speaker!
My class (the one I teach) is great too. I love teaching English, and my Karreni (an ethnic group of people from Burma) students are so great. They are very anxious to learn, and I feel like I’m really doing something great after I leave class. I teach for two hours every Tuesday morning. Tim really likes teaching his class too, but I’ll let him talk about that.

  1. I want more details about your classes, Breyanna, and the classes you are teaching? I feel out of the loop not knowing about these things.
I also want to hear more about Tim and an essay on his ADD. Did not know he has ADD!
    Write more details!
