Things

Tim and I were dog sitting at someone’s house this weekend, so we had a lot of time to spend talking and figuring out some stuff we need to start working on before we leave. Of course, we’re still thinking about how to sell the car and who will take Emo, but those are things beyond our control right now.

Part of the reason we’re doing PC is that we’re interested in living a simpler life less focused on possessions. There are things we know we’ll need when we get back, but other things we have we don’t want to store because we don’t really need them. So we made a list of all our possessions and put them in categories of store, give away, and throw away. Of the things we are giving away, some we will try to give to you, some we will try to sell on Ebay or in a garage sale, and some we will give to Exodus Refugee Center. If you want any of the things on the list below, please let me know through the comments. I’ll cross things out as people claim them.

Vegetable steamer

Washer and dryer (we will help you get it out of the apartment, but you will have to have a way to transport it)

Toaster oven

A chest of craft supplies (there are several different colors of yarn, swaths of fabric, and a lot of various beads and baubles. There are also some things like pipe cleaners, fabric scissors and craft glue.) This is an all or nothing thing.

We will both be going through our clothes and shoes. If you are the same size as either of us or wear a size 9 men’s or 5 women’s shoe and would like to go through them before we donate them, let me know.

A full tool set and jars filled with assorted screws and nails

Two bar stools (they’re dark brown metal and they have a mocha colored cushion)

Okay. That’s it for now. Let me know if you are interested in these things!
