Happy Valentine’s Day

I almost forgot. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Tim and I trade off every year who plans the surprise for whom, and this year is Tim's year. It's not exactly a surprise, I was offered a choice between fake Jimmy John's subs (complete with avocado spread) and the new Greek restaurant in town. While I love the pita bread at the Greek place, I opted for subs. Who knows. Maybe we'll even download a movie. Not incredibly exciting, but that's Moldova. Tim got a card from his 7th form students, but it was completely in Russian. Anyway, I hope you all have a romantic and wonderful Valentine's Day!

  1. That’s so sweet, Breyanna! But I wish you could have joined us on V-day at the new Thai restaurant in Muncie downtown. It is very good Thai food – a small, intimate place with 3 small rooms, candlelight, very nice Thai decor – some absolutely beautiful Thai oil paintings on the walls. We were impressed, as we were not so crazy about the other “Thai Smile” restaurant here.
So glad to hear things are going better. Don’t worry – I’m sure you are impacting lives over there, and you ARE making a difference! You are both very good at what you do, and I’m so glad you “found your niche” Breyanna!
We are gearing up for our next trip to Thailand May 11th – wish you were coming!

    1. Thanks Rosemary! We wish we were going too. We were actually in Chisinau for a training session this weekend and we went to a Thai restaurant with some friends. It definitely had a Moldova twist, but the food was excellent nonetheless. It was one of those times we made people absolutely sick of the phrase “In Thailand…” Glad to hear you guys had a good Valentine’s Day, and congratulations to Derek and Gaibi. How exciting!
