Happy Thanksgiving

I hope you are all enjoying an excellent feast with food, family, and friends overflowing from your table today. This is not our first Thanksgiving away from home. As far as married years, it’s quickly becoming a tradition to be traveling instead of at home. That doesn’t mean we’re missing any of you any less. In San Francisco, it was hard because we saw so many people greeting each other or out with friends. Maybe it will be easier outside the U.S.
We, of course, have to work today and tomorrow. However, we are hosting a Thanksgiving feast at our house on Saturday. A few of our close volunteer friends will be there, as will our friends we have made in the community. We’re planning on making everything a traditional Thanksgiving includes, and we might even throw around the football we brought. Pictures to come of course!
It has been awhile since our last post — we had an In Service Training at the beginning of November and it was great to see all the EEs. It’s nice to be able to talk to people who are going through the same things as you and come up with solutions. It is quickly getting colder here, although we had a thaw for a few weeks there. We’re paying for it now, and we are expecting our first snow sometime next week. Wish us luck in busting out the Yak Trax. Love you all and have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Eat an extra piece of pumpkin pie for Tim and I.
